Chapel of the Holy Cross
Stunning modernist Catholic chapel built into the red rock cliffs in 1956. Free to enter, open daily. One of the most photographed architectural sites in Arizona.

Tip: Non-denominational — all visitors welcome. The gift shop is excellent. Go at sunrise or sunset for magical light.
Buddhist Stupa · Hidden Gem
Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park
Free, open-air Tibetan Buddhist stupa with walking paths through the desert. One of Sedona's most peaceful and undervisited sites — most tourists never find it.

Tip: Completely free and often quiet even when the rest of Sedona is packed. The sunset walk around the stupa is meditative.

Heard Museum — Sedona
